Well...

Obviously the whole 365 thing was a terrible idea. Especially since I started it a few days before going away. And also considering I have a job and don't have a studio or room I can leave my equipment set up, it was completely unrealistic. But anyways, I went to Washington DC for a few days, and am currently editing the ridiculous amount of photos I have taken. As I'm finishing editing I'll be posting a few at a time.

Marlon and Molly

I took this 2 years ago for a school assignment. The assignment was supposed to be executive portraits. I was to find a manager or owner of a company and take a photo of him or her in their work environment. This is Marlon and Molly. Marlon was in charge of part of the farm my dad works at. While trying to get Molly to sit next to him she jumped up and kissed him, and I quickly snapped the photo. I thought it was the cutest thing ever.

I'm cheating.

I'm skipping the 365 thing today because I'm exhausted from work. Even though I actually have a nice idea in my head. Instead I'm gonna post an old photo I took and then watch Tangled. :)

Mr. Toad

I took this in North Carolina this past summer. We were walking around Deep Creek and I spotted this guy under a rock staring at me. I think he's adorable. :)

365 Day 2.

I had no idea what to do already and it's only day 2. Basically, I have always loved my Sega and I still play it. Zombies Ate My Neighbors will always be my favorite video game. I'm not too happy with these, but whatever. And I'm starting to think this 365 thing was a bad idea for 2 reasons: 1. I do not need 365 more pictures of myself and 2. I do not have that many ideas floating around in my head. hahaha.

365 Day 1.

This is a self portrait of my brother, Ian, and myself.I sort of have an obsession with moustaches. I wanted to do a mini portfolio when I was in school of portraits of different people wearing fake moustaches, but at the time I couldn't find them anywhere. My best friend bought me these recently and I was so excited. I couldn't wait to take pictures with them :)

Hello.

Hey, I'm Ashley and I take pictures. :)
I attended a photography college and currently work as a photographer for Life Touch taking children's school portraits.

I was never really interested in creating a blog, but my aunt, who runs a blog about books, indirectly suggested it. I thought about it and decided to create one out of boredom. I almost didn't make one cause I haven't been shooting and didn't think I'd have anything to post. But then I figured I'd challenge myself and see if I could complete a 365, taking a photo of myself every day for 365 days. While also posting other photos, old and new.

Hopefully this summer I actually use my camera more often. Thanks for visiting, and I'll try to keep it interesting. :)
